Video has a number of important roles to play in conference and seminar business.

For speakers, video can liven up their presentation and help the audience understand and retain more information.

This example was created for the launch of Proskills, the sector skills council for the process industries. It was shown at the beginning of the launch day presentation to clearly and simply show the range of industries that the organisation provided for.

Conference organisers can also use video to extend the reach of the event beyond those who could actually attend.

A video featuring edited highlights of the conference delivered via DVD or website can maximise the investment in the conference, especially where external speakers have been brought in.
